![]() ![]() I’d set Tokiya as my favourite in the beginning, partially because I was into the cool, I-don’t-need-anyone-but-I’m-kinda-falling-for-you type (sue me) at the time, and partially because he was voiced by Mamoru Miyano, who also voiced Light Yagami (sue me again, I love Death Note). I remember getting really excited over the fact that the sprites were animated and the game was fully voiced, and I distinctly remember messaging Indi about it frantically because “OH MY GOD YOU CAN SEE THEM BREATHE THIS IS SO COOL” and no other VN game I’d played so far had any of that. Of course, though I was wrong, I wasn’t disappointed. ![]() I’d never actually played rhythm games before (apart from Piano Tiles), and I’d assumed it was an otome when I downloaded it. I actually first found out about UtaPri through Shining Live, which I’d found on the App Store (while looking for otome games, I’ll admit). Today, February 13th, as it just so happens, marks exactly one year since I first discovered Uta no Prince-sama, so I’d really like to share some of my experience with the series itself with you all. ![]()
